Biography

Mande (b. 1982) is a French painter who lives and works in Ardèche, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Mande’s practice and research explore the vast possibilities of watercolour techniques with natural textures and vibrant colours, based on the concept of our travel memories. Throughout her career, Mande has trained with many renowned French painters and pastelists, in parallel with her own self-taught experimentation. The artist regularly exhibits and participates in events in the region, and frequently produces commissioned works for art collectors. She also runs private watercolour courses at her studio « Couleur MANDE ». The artist is currently working on two new series of paintings for upcoming exhibitions, while developing her research on textures.
